One of the best-known structures on Kab-hegy is the Kab-hegy Transmission Tower, a highly visible landmark of the surrounding area. The 238-metre-high tower, built from concrete and steel, was constructed in 1962 and has continued to play an important role in television and radio broadcasting in Hungary ever since.
